The camera quietly recorded everything inside the morgue room. The attendant had stepped into the next office, but he kept glancing at the monitor every few minutes. He did not even know why. Perhaps he wanted proof that he had imagined everything.

The clock showed 12:30 a.m.

The building was completely silent. Only the old refrigeration system occasionally produced a deep mechanical hum. Rain tapped softly against the windows.

The attendant was about to switch off the monitor when he suddenly noticed something strange.

At first, he thought it was a glitch in the video feed.

Then he saw the bride’s fingers move.

His breath caught in his throat.

On the screen, her hand slowly curled as if responding to an invisible command.

His heart began pounding.

He leaned closer to the monitor.

A few seconds later, the bride’s head shifted slightly to one side.

This was no muscle spasm.

She was moving.

The attendant rushed into the room.

As soon as he opened the door, the bride was lying perfectly still again.

As if nothing had happened.

He approached the table carefully.

“Can you hear me?” he whispered. “If you can, give me a sign.”

No response.

But then he noticed something unusual.

The bouquet resting on her chest was positioned differently.

One white rose that had pointed upward earlier was now tilted toward the door.

Someone had touched it.

Or she had.

A chill ran through him.

He leaned down and placed his ear against her chest.

There it was again.

A faint sound.

A heartbeat.

Weak, irregular, but unmistakably real.

Now he was certain.

The woman was alive.

Without wasting another second, he called emergency services and demanded a senior physician come immediately.

Within half an hour, several doctors filled the room.

Medical equipment was connected.

Everyone waited in tense silence.

Then a monitor emitted a sharp electronic beep.

A weak cardiac rhythm appeared on the screen.

One doctor stared in disbelief.

“That can’t be possible.”

Another quickly checked the readings.

“She has blood pressure.”

“There is cardiac activity.”

“She’s alive.”

The room fell silent.

No one could explain it.

Moments later, while they were transporting her to intensive care, her eyelids trembled.

Slowly, her eyes opened.

The doctors gathered around.

“Can you hear us?” one asked.

The bride struggled to breathe.

Her lips moved.

Everyone leaned closer.

She whispered only a few words.

“Don’t let my husband come near me.”

The hallway became silent.

The doctors exchanged uneasy looks.

The attendant felt a knot form in his stomach.

The groom had never left her side earlier that day.

He had been the one who told everyone that his bride had died from accidental poisoning during the wedding celebration.

But now that explanation suddenly seemed far less convincing.

Police officers were called immediately.

What none of them knew was that the investigation would uncover a dark secret hidden behind the perfect wedding.

And the footage recorded by the attendant’s camera that night would become the key piece of evidence in a case that would shock the entire city.
