Nobody smiled without a reason here. Nobody asked unnecessary questions. And children definitely did not belong in a place like this. But that night, something happened that people would whisper about for years afterward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The double doors burst open with such force it sounded like a car had crashed into them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The music stopped instantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Several bikers turned sharply, one of them already reaching beneath his leather jacket for the knife hidden there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A little boy stood in the doorway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Small. Thin. Maybe nine or ten years old. His face was covered in dirt and streaks of blood, his hair soaked with sweat, and he gasped for air as if he had been running for miles without stopping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But the most terrifying thing was his eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That was the look of someone who had already seen death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The boy stumbled inside, nearly tripping over his own feet. His sneakers were torn apart, and one knee of his pants hung in shreds. Every few seconds he glanced back over his shoulder, as though he expected something horrifying to come crashing through the doors behind him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Old scars covered his knuckles. A faded wolf tattoo stretched across his neck. In front of him sat a half-empty glass of whiskey that he no longer touched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The boy ran straight toward him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With both trembling hands, he grabbed the biker\u2019s arm as if it were the last thing keeping him alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His voice shook so badly that the final words almost disappeared into the silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The biker slowly raised his eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But within seconds, everything in his expression changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The old bartender silently removed a glass from a customer\u2019s hand without taking his eyes off the entrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The biker narrowed his eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWho are they?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The boy swallowed hard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBad people\u2026 They killed my father\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A deadly silence fell over the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One biker quietly cursed under his breath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhy did you come here?\u201d the giant asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The boy\u2019s whole body trembled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biker instantly went pale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So pale that everyone noticed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhere did you get that?\u201d he asked in a hoarse voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The boy clutched the tag tightly against his chest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt belonged to my father\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The giant slowly rose from his chair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And when he stood to his full height, even the toughest men in the room tensed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because they all knew one thing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If this man stood up, something terrible was happening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The biker bent closer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The boy\u2019s lips began to tremble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tears filled his eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then, barely above a whisper, he said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several bikers exchanged nervous looks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But the child finished the sentence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time stopped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A bottle slipped from someone\u2019s hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The crash of breaking glass exploded across the concrete floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nobody looked down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Every eye in the room was fixed on the boy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And on the giant biker whose face had suddenly turned ghost white.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because everyone knew that name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some had only heard stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some had seen the aftermath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And two men inside that bar had once seen John Wick in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They still woke up in cold sweats because of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
